Polo Beach

Polo Beachis located behind the Kea Lani Beach Hotel and the Polo Beach Club, it was named after the club.This a quiet family beach with plenty but a rocky bottom. Good for swimming and some snorkeling. Afternoon winds bring plenty of waves for surfers and boogie boarders. The park area offers lots of shade, picnic tables and grills. The entire area is well maintained by the Hotel This is a nice location for children and picnics with plenty of parking (although I have seen the parking lot full in the afternoon). You can also park on the side road and walk in. Rest rooms and showers are available.

For snorkeling come in the morning to escape the tradewinds. Be careful in the afternoon as the current can get a bit strong.

• Directions (from Kihei)
  Head south on Piilani Hwy. Turn Right onto Wailea Ike Rd. (Piilani Hwy Dead ends here). Turn left at Wailea Alanui . Turn right at Makena rd. Look for beach access sign on the right when the road curves.

  Follow signs for parking. Large lot with shade
• Restrooms
  Public restrooms with showers.
• Best For
  All around great beach for families and picnics.
